The Treatment and the Alleviation of Withdrawal
The treatment is completely painless and only takes about an hour. We use a low level laser (also known as a therapeutic or cold laser) primarily on the auricular therapy points located on the ear. We also include a few additional points on the nose, wrists, hands, and forearms.
New Beginnings Optimal Health treatment concentrates on three areas; nicotine withdrawal, relaxation, and appetite suppression. The nicotine withdrawal helps to alleviate the physical withdrawal symptoms associated with nicotine.

The relaxation portion of the treatment helps to keep the body and mind calm as you are beginning to make new associations as a former smoker.
Finally, the appetite suppression can help keep you from transferring nicotine to food. You are encouraged to eat healthy snacks to assist in this area.
Although the treatment is not FDA approved, New Beginnings Optimal Health uses cutting edge FDA cleared Cold Lasers. If for some reason you "fall off the wagon", you can be retreated. This treatment is called a booster treatment. Please contact the location where you were treated for their specific policy.
